They just saw a few terrorists,
noticed that they are black,
but some go higher than Mount Everest,
and still, they attack.

Just some more Melanin,

they treat it as a sin,

does the blame go to the kin?

If so, when does that cycle begin? 

Now that awareness spreads,

on how blacks matter,

but some are still found dead,

and to no one does it flatter.

They look for excuses to blame

them, and then the society proclaims

that their existence isn't the situation,

they break the rules of all equations.

Devalued and degraded,

they long to get their colors traded,

but inside their conscience claims

to know they shouldn't be the ones to feel the shame.

There is a certainty,

A Hundred Percent probability,

of revolution to strike, 

and the fall of the dime.

Because one day,

there will be a shout of "BLACK LIVES MATTER"

while the bullets ricochet.

And the existence of one will be as normal as their chatter.
